As empaths, it is important for us to understand about aura’s as it allows us to navigate our empathic abilities more effectively. A person’s aura is able to tell us a lot about their emotional state, intentions and energy levels and so when we recognise and interpret the fluctuations in another person’s auric field we can start to distinguish what emotions is ours and what is somebody else’s.
An Aura refers to a distinctive and often subtle quality or atmosphere that surrounds a person, place, object, or concept and it is a term that can be used in various contexts, each with its own interpretation and meaning:
- Energetic Aura – An energy field that surrounds all human beings and animals and it is often described as a colorful, luminous or ethereal glow.
- Psychological Aura – The personal vibes or energy that you give off, based on your body language, facial expression or overall demeanour.
- Environmental Aura – The atmosphere or mood surrounding a particular place, event or situation.
- Artistic Aura – Unique essence or quality that distinguishes a work of art, literature, music or creative expression and evokes emotions, thoughts and memories in the audience.
- Medical Aura – A symptom or warning sign that precedes a medical condition or event, such as visual or sensory aura’s that occur with migraine headaches.
